The indoor and outdoor spaces are decorated with authentic traditional furnishings and incorporate marble/stone artwork crafted by traditional and contemporary Tinian artists. This group of buildings forms an open-air folk museum and also serves as exhibition grounds. Cultural events like art exhibitions by Greek and foreign artists, concerts, and science lectures are hosted in these buildings. A nearby chapel decorated with frescoes completes the picture. All the structures of the settlement are aesthetically uniform but yet distinguished individually. Built by local stonemasons, using exclusively natural materials (local stone), they blend harmoniously with the natural Cycladic environment and the nearby village.
