Our family has been raising donkeys since about 2000 in beautiful and green Edessa.
The ONOiamata laboratory was founded in 2012, it is certified by EOF and produces handmade cosmetics based on donkey milk. Our soaps do not contain any water and the percentage of milk is 21%. Creams also contain a large percentage of milk. Indicatively I mention, 55% the serum, 24% and 32% the face creams, 24% the eye cream.
According to research, donkey milk has regenerative ingredients and prevents certain skin diseases. It also contains essential fatty acids that help in the absorption of vitamins, while also improving the healing process. Also the mineral salts of donkey milk allow the skin to be cleansed, as long as the dead skin cells are removed in order to create new living cells. In addition, it gives whiteness to the skin and reduces the dullness of the face. The rich composition of milk with high levels of protein phospholipids and ceramides make it excellent for

· Anti-aging,

· The treatment of wrinkles,

· The restructuring and regeneration of the face with excellent results.
Suitable for dry skin, eczema, acne and psoriasis. There are several references to this milk in Hippocratic texts, as Hippocrates recommended it for various ailments and accidents, from snake bites to dysentery. It was used as a cosmetic in Roman times, and legend has it that Cleopatra soaked it in a tub full of it to enhance her beauty. The second wife of the Roman Emperor Nero, Poppea Sabina, also followed the same secret of beauty and youth in her daily life as mentioned in Pliny's description of the virtues of donkey milk for the skin. Pliny states that "donkey milk erases wrinkles on the skin, makes it thinner and keeps it white. It is known that some women wash their face with it seven times a day, strictly in this number ". Napoleon Bonaparte's sister, Pauline, was also a fan of donkey milk for skin care.
