Tinos Ceramics, atelier & pottery studio
The ceramic workshop "Atelier Tinos Ceramics" lies in a central and peaceful area on the Island of Tinos, near the village of Tripotamos. It is situated just three miles from the town and beaches. From the terasse, where we offer in summertime pottery-courses there is a beautiful view to the Agean Sea. With other words> a pottery-studio with sea-view.
In the last years we had "students" mostly from European countries, Suisse, the US, from Canada, Israel and Peru.
The studio is closed to the Medieval Road which connects the town to the Castle of Exombourgo, today used as footpath - an excellent starting point for trekkers. The studio belongs to Mr. Bernhard Aicher, an experienced ceramic teacher. The work produced at the Tripotamos studio is primarily functional earthenware and terracota ; includes handmade ceramic-sconces in different shapes, bowls, pigeon houses and other decorative and useful pieces.
