Our aim  The presentation of the circle of life and activities of the traditional farm family of Andros, witch lived through by carrying out sorts of tasks for its self-preservation, as well as the description of its customs.   A major part of this project was financed by developmental programmes of the European Union via Hellenic Ministry of Rural Development and Food. Quiet important was the contribution of the Cyclades Development Agency, “An.Et.Ky”.   Location At Cape CAVO STARA of Andros, one of the most beautiful areas of our motherland, we have created with much love a multipurpose space for the visitor to enjoy. View – Landscapes – Tradition  The travelogue and view of the nearby areas is enchanting, starting from villages Pitrofos, Messaria, Vakoni, Menites, Lamyra, Strapourgies, Mesathouri, Ypsilou, Stenies, Apikia, continuing with evergreen valleys, reaching Chora with lovely bays and the Venetian Fortress, Fanari, the Statue of “Afanis Naftis”, the beautiful Stadium and the spectacular beach of Lidi (ornament for Greek). Traditional tastesHaving in mind that local cuisine gives a different taste to your vacation and entertainment, we constantly try to present to you different tastes at very low prices. All tastes come from pure products of the land of Andros, without preservatives, grown with abundant spring waters, the mild Cycladic climate and salty sea. The recipes are part of our grandmother’s heritage. The local “fourtalia”, stuffed vine leaves, fried meatballs, the traditional “tigania” and “lampriatis”, vegetables and others, are served accompanied by varieties of local, wines, produced within a spirit of family consumption, not for trade. Alternative tastesBeneath a natural cave (rock), we have created a barbecue facility, where visitors can enjoy their own “booty”. Fishermen can grill his catch by his own, and so hunters with turkeys and jackrabbits.
