Meterizi complex of traditional guesthouses, built with Parnonite stone and traditional architecture, took its name from the Meterizi plateau of Parnon, the well-known historical stronghold of Captain Zacharias of Barbichiotis. The complex is located in Varvitsa or Barbitsa which is built to the west of the plateau and is the highest village in Laconia with an altitude of 1200 meters.
It consists of 5 independent traditional guesthouses, fully equipped, from a common area with fireplace, kitchen for breakfast, coffee, drinks, etc. and exhibition space for displaying traditional products. The guesthouses can comfortably accommodate from 2 to 8 people. The guest rooms operate autonomously and independently from each other as double or triple rooms. The soundproofed and individually decorated rooms have balconies with a panoramic view. They include heating, a flat-screen TV and bathroom amenities. Some have a fireplace with free firewood.
A genuine, homemade breakfast is served daily in a common area with a fireplace. There, dinner is offered as well as coffee, drinks and sweets.
The complex, made with great care, offers comfortable accommodation in an intimate and warm environment that will reward you in your winter and summer escapes.
