The unusual Hotel Cava D 'Oro is located near the Palace of the Knights in the Old City of Rhodes. It is situated on the 2000 year old ruins of the ancient market in an attractive part of the crusador section of the town.
The owner, Thanasis Mavrakis, his wife Birgid and their daughters, Dorothea and Alexia bring individual warmth and hospitality, continuing the 2,400 year old history of the city which still is a crossroad between the east and west.Accommodation

The hotel has 2 family suites, 3 triple rooms, and 7 double rooms. Each room has kept the medieval atmosphere yet has all the modern day amenities. The hotel has a breakfast buffet in the new large enclosed courtyard for dining. There also is a room with an original 800 year old built-in fireplace which offers a cozy and warm atmosphere for winter guests.
And every winter season, the owner Thanasis, indulges to add new additions to the hotel, always keeping the medieval style. This labor of love can be noticed in every detail of his handy work.
