Alexandroupolis is proud to welcome its guests to the municipal campsite one of the best and well run campsites in Greece suitable for families and everyone who seeks rest and relaxation. The camping is situated in the west of the town twelve km from the west exit of Egnatia Highway with a bus stop just in front of the camping entrance linking it with the city centre, port, railway station. It is a lovely spot right by the sea and covers an area of () square meters with poplar trees.The reception is manned by friendly, English speaking municipal servants always ready to meet your needs. Just within walking distance from the open air cinema and the city centre – one can combine life by the sea and the joys of the city. It provides 216 spacious shaded hedge - marked pitches, 2 guesthouses that can accommodate up to 50 people and a meeting hall. In the site you can also find, a tavern, a mini market, a playground, basketball and tennis court.
