The day may begin with a rich breakfast in the estate's traditional coffee house alongside the rising sun. Our guests can let loose in the shade under the trees reading a book or sampling traditional meze and raki in the Cretan tavern which we lovingly built or taking a bicycle, horse into the river trail and the surrounding mountains making their way from the cave of the Holy Fire to the village of Tylissos with its rich archaeological findings and the unparalleled local hospitality. Upon returning to the estate, the invinting B.B.Q, the fully equipped fitness room and the pool are at their disposal. We would recommend that you let the sunset catch up with you at your private veranda, while you allow yourself to be distracted by the sound of flowing water and the sight of nature, wild and blooming. As for those days when you cannot avoid the use of a car, things could not be simpler: the most prominent destinations, such as the city of Heraklion, the airport, the harbor, Knossos, organized beaches and the tourist resorts of Ammoudara and Agia Pelagia are no more than 10 or 20 minutes away. After all, the highway that connects the biggest Cretan cities to each other lies but 5km from the estate.
