The guesthouse "The Old Kafenion" is an old and historical Cretan building and offers 3 double guestrooms. The building dates from more than 100 years ago and has a typical Cretan architecture. During the restoration, we kept the architecture and a lot of decorative elements from that period. Until 50 years ago the house was used as the local Kafenion (Coffee Shop) due to its central place in the village, just in front of the small church. The 3 guestrooms are situated in the lower part of the building. Each room is about 25 m2 and is very comfortable. The temperature in the rooms remains very nice during the whole year due to the thick walls but there is also air conditioning in each guestroom for the warmest days and nights. There is a safe and a hairdryer in each room. Hand soap, shower gel and shampoo based on olive oil or aloë-vera extracts are offered by us. A WIFI-internet connection is available.
