RIMIDA is located at the entrance of Oia village in the area of Perivolas, on the pedestrian street of Oia – Fira, and close to the central bus lane, that leads to the rest areas of the island. The area is protected by a special law from disturbing usage and it is only allowed for guests staying. Here visitors can enjoy absolute tranquility. RIMIDA is a complex of 9 old independent cave houses, that were built more than 200 years ago. In the last century, certain areas were wine cellars (CANAVES) which were fully renovated to the strict criteria of local materials and colors, with total respect to the architecture and aesthetics of the landscape, continuing to blend perfectly with the surrounding environment, in order to welcome and accommodate wonderful guests.
The whole complex is oriented to the unique, endless and spectacular majestic Caldera, with uninterrupted views to the volcano and the infinite blue of the Aegean sea. All villas feature private verandas, big and comfortable spaces inside out, combining the traditional cycladic decoration with modern touches, meeting the needs and requirements of all visitors.
