‘Margarites Villas Resort’ is a group of three holiday houses, 75 sq.m. each, with a 88 sq.m. wide swimming pool. It is built on the east footprint of Psiloritis Mountain, above the village of Krousonas. Each house has a big living room with a sofa that can become a double bed, a fireplace (wood for its use is supplied free of charge during the winter months!), satellite TV, a fully equipped kitchen and a staircase that leads to the first floor, where the master bedroom is. All houses are made of stone, with wooden roofs covered with ceramic tiles. ‘Margarites Villas Resort’ also provide secure parking space for the Villas’ guests and saiz-longs around the swimming pool for use during the summer. The nearby village of Krousonas is open to guests all-year round. The Villas are located 22 km from the city of Heraklion (capital of the island of Crete), 24 km from Heraklion Airport ‘Nikos Kazantzakis’ and 6 km from Krousonas. ‘Margarites Villas Resort’ is the ideal place to rest in serenity, enjoy Cretan nature and get to know the famous Cretan tradition and hospitality. The view to the whole Heraklion prefecture, from the Cretan Sea to the north, down to the Asterousian Mountains to the South, and to the whole city of Heraklion itself, is simply breathtaking.
